Why a tool is showing a padlock
What the padlock means, and what to do about it.
A padlock next to a tool means the tool exists but is not included on your current plan.
Clicking it shows you what the tool does and which plan includes it. Nothing is hidden from you — you can always see what you are not getting.
Upgrading
From the padlock, or from Settings. The tool unlocks straight away and it works on your history immediately. There is no waiting period and nothing to set up again: your orders, costs and pixel data are already there.
Some tools show partial data instead of a padlock
A few tools are included on every plan but hold back certain columns on the lower ones, most notably profit figures in Email Marketing. In those cases the tool opens normally and the columns you do not have are simply absent.
If a padlock looks wrong
If you have upgraded and a tool is still locked, reload the page first. If it persists after that, get in touch and tell us which tool — that is a fault, not a plan issue.
If a tool you were using has disappeared rather than locked, that is different again, and also worth reporting.
