Your ROAS, to see what every $100 of ads leaves you.
YOUR ROAS FLOOR
1.77×
Below this, every ad loses money on the order it wins.
MOST YOU CAN PAY FOR AN ORDER
$33.96
What an order leaves you before ads: 57% of $60.00.
The starting figures are an example. Refunds and fixed costs push the real floor higher; customers who come back and buy again can make a first order worth winning below it.
HOW IT WORKS
One order, one sum.
- What an order leaves youThe order value, less the products, the shipping you pay and the payment fees. It is what one order leaves before any ad is paid for.
- The floorThe order value divided by what it leaves. A $60 order that leaves $30 has a floor of 2×: every $1 of ads has to bring back $2 of sales just to break even.
- The most you can pay for an orderThe same $30. Pay more than that to win an order, in ads, and the order loses money.
- What it leaves outRefunds, and fixed costs like apps, staff and rent, which push the real floor higher. And customers who come back and buy again, who can make a first order worth winning below it.
INSIDE APLON
Your break-even, from your own orders.
Aplon works out your break-even from the product costs on your real orders, then checks every campaign against it — so one the ad platform shows in green, but that loses money, is marked as losing money.
