Store Scan

An automated check over your storefront for the things that quietly cost you sales.

Store Scan visits your storefront the way a shopper would and reports what it finds: slow pages, broken links, missing information, and the small things that lose sales without ever showing up as an error.

Running one

Press the button and give it a few minutes. When it finishes you get a summary and a list of findings, each with the page it was found on.

There is a cooldown between scans. A scan crawls real pages on your live store, and running them back to back would put load on your storefront for no benefit — nothing meaningful changes in five minutes.

Comparing against your last scan

Once you have run more than one, findings you have fixed since the previous scan are marked as such. That is the useful way to work through the list: fix a few things, run it again, watch them clear.

Password-protected stores

If your storefront is password protected, the scan cannot see it. Add the storefront password in the scan settings and it will be able to get in.

What it does not do

Store Scan looks at your storefront, not at your numbers. It will not tell you that your margins are thin or your ads are underperforming. It tells you whether the shop itself is working properly.
