Notifications
Turning on alerts and updates for your phone or desktop, and switching them off again.
Aplon can send notifications to your phone or computer so you hear about things without having the app open.
Turning them on
Open Settings, choose notifications, and allow them when your browser asks. Your browser's own permission prompt is the one that matters — if you dismiss it, nothing can be sent.
Notifications are per device
If you turn them on for your laptop, your phone will not get them until you turn them on there too. Each device is separate.
This is usually what people want. It is worth knowing when you are wondering why an alert reached one screen and not another.
What gets sent
Alerts you have set up, and updates on your support requests when someone replies.
Turning them off
Same place in Settings. You can also switch them off in your browser or phone settings, which stops them for that device regardless of what Aplon thinks.
If they stop arriving
Check the browser permission. Browsers reset notification permissions if the site has been unused for a long time, and some clear them when you clear site data.
On iPhone, add Aplon to your home screen. Safari only delivers notifications to sites that have been installed that way. Open Aplon in Safari, share, then Add to Home Screen, and turn notifications on from there.
